hi all
it is almost time for our 2010 golf day
we are very busy with the final arrangements
there are still places open for late entries
sadly --- we will miss one of our very first entrants
the late '' uncle '' PIET DU TOIT -- of the law firm DU TOIT , HAVEMAN LLOYD in durban passed away recently
he was the first winner of the ''unofficial '' legal golfday in 1989
since the 1st legal eagles in 1990 he never missed a day
he alwys had a whole team in support of the cause
his law firm also contributed as sponser at times
me , golly and catherine will always remember '' oom piet ''
what a '' gentleman '' what a nice guy
he was so curtious with the very busy entry table ladies and always had a quick joke to crack
his law firm have decided to honour him and will donate the winners trophy as a memorial trophy for him
his son Wayne will be presenting it to the winners
